[OMS_MANAGERS] Voting ByLaws

Your bylaws should specify how they can be amended. The majority of our OMS network members have the board as the one who can approve amendments. A few have the general membership.

Since we suggest that bylaws are reviewed by the board annually, it is typically better to have the board be the one who can amend. However, you need to review what your bylaws state and follow them or amend to how you want to operate.

Best, Sheri

Subject: [OMS_MANAGERS] Voting ByLaws

My board has asked that I reach out to you all and ask,

"Please ask the other ED's that you are in contact with who votes to approve bylaw changes for their respective associations; the general membership or the Board of Directors?

Is there anyone that can answer this for us? Thank you in advance..
