Whatever It Takes Workshop Series
Join us for a 45-minute overview of our upcoming workshop series Whatever it Takes - Tools and Strategies to Connect with Your Customers.
This 5-part online workshop series was specifically developed for small businesses in rural communities and will help them to discover how customer's needs have changed during this trying time and how to better adapt your business to those new needs.
Using the Co-Starters Canvas and other tools, you'll learn a visually based process to:

  *   Better understand who your customers are (and might be).
  *   Better understand how their needs have changed in this new environment.
  *   How to communicate your solutions, services, products to customers.
  *   Define your advantages over your competitors and your customers alternatives.
  *   Improve your messaging and use storytelling.
  *   Explore new ways to get your products and services in the hands of your customers (both existing and new).
  *   Create a short term action plan to quickly recover.
  *   Develop a longer-term pathway to sustainability.
The Whatever it Takes workshop series is delivered over 5-weeks of online presentations (2 times each week and recorded). It is supplemented with an online course with additional resources.
You will also be invited to group and one-on-one mentoring sessions with your peers, subject matter experts, and business consultants to ensure your business can rebound and recover.
Whatever it Takes is made possible by a generous grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, support from Business Oregon, and a collaborative effort by BizHarney, Foundry Collective, Rural Development Initiatives, Kelly Nonprofit Consulting, and  others.
Reinventing Rural is an online community focused on helping rural communities embrace their rugged culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The health and safety of the community is our top priority. It is best for everyone if people can work from home.  However if that is not possible – no high speed internet, no room, can’t concentrate because of kids being home, etc. – we have an option for you.  There is a co-working space available in downtown Estacada.  Flex desks start at $150/mo on a month to month basis.  For everyone’s safety, desks are spaced a minimum of 6 ft. apart. When times are tough, Work Share provides Oregon businesses an alternative to layoffs. This newly streamlined program allows employers to leverage unemployment insurance (UI) to subsidize a portion of lost wages for employers whose work time is reduced due to market downturns or other business stressors.
