FYI - Washington Main Street is hosting a free webinar series and is inviting communities in our Network to attend. Click on the title for each session you want to attend to go to the registration page.

  1. Mindset: From Crisis to Recovery<https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_DDmgpB7QS6CiSjpTrwA05Q> / Sept 10 at 9:00 a.m.
Description: Main Street organizations responded quickly and effectively to the immediate and ongoing impacts of Covid-19. But there was a false sense that the crisis would end, and it hasn't; we recognize now that recovery must happen amidst the mess, and that we, as Main Street, are our communities' best chance at adapting and rebuilding. Join us for a discussion about Main Street's role in recovery - where our strengths lie and where redefinition may be needed.

Featuring: Norma Ramirez de Miess (National Main Street Center) and Tripp Muldrow (Arnett Muldrow & Associates)

  1. Economics: Trends & Opportunities on Main Street<https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_tIKcKDofTzKwX6tQkYN20g> / Sept 17 at 9:00 a.m.
Description: Inherent in recovery response is the realization that challenge necessitates creativity, experimentation, and entrepreneurial thinking. Main Street organizations have been and will be needed at the forefront of this transition. This webinar explores the dynamics impacting our economy, explains how larger forces are playing out in historic downtown districts (hint: it is different than in suburban retail areas), and suggests opportunities unique to Main Street.

Featuring: Tripp Muldrow (Arnett Muldrow & Associates) and Matt Wagner (National Main Street Center)

  1. Planning: Strategies for Moving Main Street Forward<https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_YbzyIQtVQ7qse5cHZUh2-Q> / Sept 24 at 9:00 a.m.
Description: Main Street has always been about proactively and steadily building up our communities and economies; these principles remain strong, even if the processes may look different right now. Bringing together ideas from the Mindset and Economics webinars, this discussion focuses squarely on strategies local Main Street directors and boards can employ for leading their organizations through meaningful recovery planning and implementation.
