Subject: Re: [OMS_MANAGERS] Pole Banner Costs

Good afternoon Saira,

Gold Beach Main Street is currently working on a banner project as well. We have a unique streetfront in that we don't have any of the shorter, 'downtown' style lamp posts and our Main Street is along a highway with ODOT and UD poles.
When we started last year we were going to do banners in front of businesses on shorter poles, but decided that they would get lost among the road signs and other poles around.
We briefly spoke to ODOT before speaking to our UD about putting in some more poles just for our banners, but it seemed like it was going to be a much larger cost that way.

Now we are working with both ODOT and our utility district to install our banners on their poles. Depending on what kind of setup is in your area, it might be easier to use someone else's that are previously installed!

Hope this helps,

Hello Oregon Main Street Folks!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in contact with many of you! I have been staying on this thread and happy to see all the movement and conversations in the OMS family, especially through the trying year.

I am working with a team in my neck of the woods, and trying to locate some price estimates for street banners. I’m able to find lots of info on the banners themselves and the brackets, but having trouble getting a cost estimate around the hardware – poles particularly.

Does anyone have a general estimate of street pole costs that I could use as a base to build off of?

I appreciate the help!
