  1.  Conflict Management Webinar with Grow Co-Lab hosted by Wyoming Main Street, Thursday, May 27, 8:30 to 10 a.m.: Conflict. It's existed since the dawn of time, so you would think that in today's society we would be masters at managing it. But at times, nothing could seem further from the truth. Join guides, Nora and Darrin from Grow Co-lab, on a journey to understand typical causes of conflict and collect tools along the way for managing it to produce better results. Participants are asked to come prepared to discuss a time when they faced conflict in either their professional or personal life.   1.  NTHP Preservation Fund Grants due June 1. Grants from the National Trust Preservation Funds encourage preservation at the local level by providing seed money for planning and education projects. Grants range up to $5,000 and applications.   1.  PPP Funds Availability Update: The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) reportedly has run out of money and, with one exception, is no longer accepting applications. On its PPP website, the Small Business Administration<https://www.councilofnonprofits.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=185224&qid=8298707> has posted a notice that it "is currently offering PPP loans originated only by participating community financial institutions including Certified Development Companies (CDCs), SBA Microlenders, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) until May 31, 2021 or until remaining funds are exhausted." (Emphasis in original.) The SBA informed the American Bankers Association<https://www.councilofnonprofits.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=185225&qid=8298707> and other groups in early May that PPP funding has been exhausted for most applicants.

  1.  Reminder: OMS "Excellence on Main" Awards Now Open - Due July 13, 2021
We have refreshed the awards from the name to categories to the submission process. What hasn't changed is that the award nominations are an opportunity for YOU to honor the people, the projects, and the activities that are outstanding achievements in your community. Attached is info about the awards, the award categories, nomination questions, and more.
Eligible Applicants: The Excellence on Main Awards is open to all organizations participating in the "Main Street Track" of the Oregon Main Street Network, including Performing Main Street, Transforming Downtown, and Exploring Downtown levels.
Project Time Frame: If applicable, all projects must have been completed between July 2020 and June 2021.
