Grants from the National Trust Preservation Funds encourage preservation at the local level by providing seed money for planning and education projects. Grants range up to $5,000 and applications are due February 1.

State Eligibility

For the February 1, 2022 grant round, the National Trust Preservation Funds grant program has dedicated funding to award in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. If your project is located in a state not listed above, we encourage you to contact us at grants at savingplaces.org<mailto:grants at savingplaces.org> to discuss other National Trust grant opportunities that might be available.
