Not a welcome sign per se but a really cool gateway sign to historic downtown Cottage Grove!

Doug,

As you can see in the attached email, Stayton has a few cool welcome signs and some that are not so cool.  The cool ones were erected sometime in the 1990s, I believe, and are comprised of some of the gears, etc from the old woolen mill that was in the downtown until it was demolished 20+ years ago.  My understanding is that they were built with a substantial amount of volunteer labor, but that was a long time ago.  The standard green "uncool" signs were erected by the City 8 years ago or so.

Hi all,

The North Plains welcome sign is in need of an upgrade. I was wondering if anyone had any cool welcome signs to their city that they wanted to share. If you have any good contractors that do those types of welcome signs I would love their contact info as well.
