Here is our welcome sign located at the North end or Warrenton.  We have the same at the South end but it has metal trees on either side of it.  I'll snap a pic the next time I'm down that way.

The cool ones were erected sometime in the 1990s, I believe, and are comprised of some of the gears, etc from the old woolen mill that was in the downtown until it was demolished 20+ years ago.  My understanding is that they were built with a substantial amount of volunteer labor, but that was a long time ago.  The standard green “uncool” signs were erected by the City 8 years ago or so.

Hi all,

The North Plains welcome sign is in need of an upgrade. I was wondering if anyone had any cool welcome signs to their city that they wanted to share. If you have any good contractors that do those types of welcome signs I would love their contact info as well.
