Mornings on Main: The next MoM call is scheduled for August 17. Susan Bowers with the Department of Justice will be our featured presenter sharing how to keep your nonprofit out of hot water.
Board Institute: I needed to change the date for the October 26 training to October 24, same time. The attached flyer reflects this change. I reached out to the one person already registered for this date.
Out of Office: Cam and I will be out of the office on Thursday and Friday, August 10-11, at our Heritage Division staff retreat.
Travel Oregon's Competitive Grant Program: Grant funds are intended to support projects that align with Travel Oregon's vision: Oregon is a welcoming destination where tourism drives economic prosperity, benefits the natural environment and celebrates rich, diverse cultures. This program requires a letter of intent to be submitted and approved prior to accessing the online application. The letter of intent form is available from 8 a.m. on July 13, 2023 until 5 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2023. Online applications are due at 5 p.m. on Sept. 15, 2023.
