Northwest Economic Development Course
Business Oregon, in partnership with the Washington State Department of Commerce, is excited to open registration for the 2023 Northwest Economic Development Course. The annual course will take place in Olympia Washington from Monday, August 21th-24th. The course offers intensive training in the basic concepts, methods, and strategies of economic development. A diverse and experienced faculty provides an excellent blend of theory and practice. Course content is oriented toward practical application. Practitioners both new to the field as well as those with experience seeking new ideas and tools are encouraged to attend.

The course takes place in Olympia, Washington at the Lacey Campus of South Puget Community College, registration can be found here<http://startup.choosewashingtonstate.com/programs/nw-economic-development-course/>. Tuition for the course is $600 with a limited number of need-based, tuition only scholarships available for those working in economic development in the Northwest at a non-profit organization or local government entity.
