  *   Mornings on Main: Next week Cam will be sharing the new quarterly reporting forms. Cam has done an amazing job building out a useful Excel that will automatically add up the stats you input which then you can share via Smartsheets. And, just a reminder that Donna Harris will join us on June 29th to share our updated Policies and Procedures handbook.
  *   Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant:  So much good press around the state on projects receiving funding through the OMSRG! Here's a couple videos that are fun to watch:

Main Street America Updates
GAMSA:  The 2024 Great American Main Street Award application is slated to open in mid-late June and will be due back in early August. As in previous years MSA will be hosting a webinar for interested applicants shortly after the application opens. More dates and details will be coming out in the next few weeks.

Grant Opportunities

*         T-Mobile Hometown Grants

Apply for a T-Mobile Hometown Grant! Grantees will receive up to $50K to fund projects to build, rebuild, or refresh community spaces that help foster local connections in your community. Just a year and a half into the $25 million, five-year initiative, T-Mobile has given more than $5.5 million dollars to projects across 37 states. Submissions close on June 30, 2023. *         USDA Rural Community Development Initiative<https://www.rd.usda.gov/programs-services/community-facilities/rural-community-development-initiative-grants> - Grants between $50k and $500k - 100% cash match required - for grantees to provide training and assistance to intermediary organizations.

*         NPS Underrepresented Communities Grant Program<https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/underrepresented-communities-grants-opportunity.htm> - This grant program supports the survey, inventory, and designation of historic properties that are associated with communities currently underrepresented in the National Register of Historic Places and among National Historic Landmarks.

*         DOT Safe Streets and Roads for All<https://www.transportation.gov/grants/SS4A> - Planning and implementation grants available to local governments for road safety.

Excellence on Main Awards Now Open: The Excellence on Main awards honor the people, the projects, and the activities that are outstanding achievements across Oregon in enhancing the sense of place of our historic downtowns and traditional commercial districts. Attached is info about the awards, the award categories, nomination questions, and more.

Eligible Applicants: The Excellence on Main Awards is open to all organizations in the Accredited Main Street, Designated Main Street, and Affiliate Main Street levels. Award Categories: Awards categories have been updated for the 2023 award year, to include a 12th award entitled the "Open Door Award." Descriptions of the awards can be found within the attached document labeled Excellence on Main Info 2023.
