[OMS_MANAGERS] Light Pole Banner Program

Hi everyone!
I am actually working on drafting a banner contract with our Org Committee- I’ve attached the draft.  We hope to have it done and authorized by our Design Committee and board in the next 2 months.  We still need to tidy it up and add some legal language- like indemnification language for the city (our Org chair is a lawyer which helps)- but hopefully the draft is helpful.  I can send out the contract once it is finalized.
Our Design Committee hangs the banners on a monthly basis and currently our schedule is as follows:

January: open
February: open
March: open
April: Maritime Museum
May: Sunday Market
June: Pride
July: AVA Open Studio Tour
August: Regatta
September: Brew Cup
October: Halloween Witches
November: Holiday
December: Holiday

That's right, I failed to mention that we have recently found a local artisan that is able to turn our old/damaged/outdated banners into these cool bags, which we are selling in our lobby retail space. We are still working out the "fundraiser" aspect to the bags.  Word has gone out about the program and everyone is giving us their old banners to be repurposed into a downtown fashionable, waterproof, functional bag. Community members can go to the farmers' market with their heavy duty farmers' market banner bags.

Howdy!

The Hillsboro Downtown Partnership has a banner fundraiser in the fall for our "Season of Gratitude" fundraiser and the winter "Love is in the Air" fundraiser.  People can purchase a personal message to put on the banner ($50 per side), they can buy as many as they like and they have the option to purchase the banner after it comes down ($160).  The phrases are printed on stickers and placed on the banners, so that we may reuse them year after year.

I know some of your towns allow for people to "purchase" banners or even have fun banner fundraiser things you do in February.
