Hi Tkeisha,

Albany has a well-documented process with an application, selection board, etc. We have received three OMS Revitalization Grants. We partnered with building owners on all three. We have not worked with developers.

ADA has three major events in the next two weeks. I am happy to provide detailed information on our full process after August 9.

There are other Main Streets that also have great processes. We are all happy to help.

Hello!

Does anyone have a checklist or application process for developers/building owners who are interested in an OMS grant? I want to make sure I have some formal process in place that will help determine if the owner understands the standards for rehabbing buildings and has the correct expectations for the progress reports needed, timelines, etc. Also we want to ensure we are working with developers that have a good history of finishing projects. Just don't want to reinvent the wheel if other towns have something like this already created.

Also, has anyone turned down owners/developers if they don't fit the requirements? What if there are no other businesses who want to apply?
