[OMS_MANAGERS] Engaging business owners with funding

[Sheridan Revitalization]

Hi All,

Our small non-profit has fundraised for projects to help revitalize
downtown Sheridan. We have about $6000 available for this. We have done a
couple public art projects and annual clean-ups, but we would like to focus
on getting financial support for some of the businesses in the downtown
core that need painting, power washing and just smaller clean-up projects.
For many, doing matching grants like Main Street are currently out of reach.

Is it a thing where you give money to businesses who submit proposals for
this kind of work? We would rather it not be a grant, where we have to do
management of things beyond just giving the money over. We only have four
board members right now, so we are trying to come up with things we can do
that don't require a lot of work.
