Oregon Main Street's Revitalization Grant requires adherence to the Secretary of Interior Standards. If you're curious about the standards and what that means for your grant application, or other historic preservation efforts on Main Street, this is the perfect opportunity to join Oregon State Historic Preservation Office's Restoration Specialist, Joy Sears, and ask any questions after the workshop.

"The 116-year-old Pythian Castle in Baker City has recently undergone some renovations. Baker City Downtown received a $200K grant from the 2023 Oregon Main Street Revitalization fund in partnership with the Oregon Historic Preservation Office to install a primary staircase and ADA-accessible lift."

IDA shares this creative fundraising opportunity allowing community members to express a sentiment on a bright red heart, hung on lampposts throughout downtown.

Grant Resources:
USFS Community Wildfire Defense Grant
Focus: To assist at-risk local communities and Tribes with planning and mitigating against the risk created by wildfire. Funding is provided for 1) development/revision of Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPP), and 2) implementation of projects described in CWPPs.  Application Deadline: February 28, 2025 .
