The hearing is all over! The bill that would have provided funding for the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant for the next two years has just passed out of the Capital Construction subcommittee of the Ways and Means committee and funding for the Revitalization grant was NOT included.

I just wanted to give you an update that an Amended version of SB 5531-4 was released this afternoon by the Joint Committee On Ways and Means Subcommittee On Capital Construction<https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/2025R1/Committees/JWMCC/Overview>. Funding for the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant for the next biennium was removed from the bill.



There is a work session scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.



Attached is a copy of the amended bill as well as the recommendations by the LFO which lists the recommended projects for funding.
