[OMS_MANAGERS] Important Notice re: funding for OMSRGCommittee

Well, I guess that makes the projects awarded in this round more important.  Let show that these projects are impacting the communities in which they are awarded and beyond.  I for one plan on writing a request to the Governor's office expressing the need to fund this grant in the future and asking that if money becomes available it be allocated to the program. The hearing is all over! The bill that would have provided funding for the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant for the next two years has just passed out of the Capital Construction subcommittee of the Ways and Means committee and funding for the Revitalization grant was NOT included.

Funding for the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant for the next biennium was removed from the bill.

There is a work session scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.

Attached is a copy of the amended bill as well as the recommendations by the LFO which lists the recommended projects for funding.
