[OMS_MANAGERS] Datafy Usage and Funding

BCD ED Ariel Reker director at bakercitydowntown.com

Our former DMO had a Datafy subscription for the past two years. BCD was
able to request a report to be pulled for our events and the former DMO
would send info to us. However, we were not receiving the actual reports,
but basic numbers the former DMO was releasing. I had no way to verify or
contextually understand the data that was sent, and it was very minimal
anyway. This meant that while the data was interesting, I couldn't trust it
to provide any sort of reporting or utilize it in any significant way.

My suggestion is that if you move forward, be sure that whatever data you
are able to access is the actual reports with context of the request, not
just a list of five numbers provided by the DMO or whoever holds the
subscription.
