Hello Everyone,
I recall at a recent Mornings on Main featuring event strategy, one or some
of you mentioned the use of Datafy for event metrics. I did recently have a
chat with a Datafy representative and, while immensely impressive, so was
the subscription and marketing cost. I'm curious about a few different
things:
- Did you combine stakeholders for one plan/audience group (main streets
in one county or collaborate with any economic development
team/organization)
- How did you fund the annual subscription and advertising budget
- Did you use the retroactive data on visitation and spending to
highlight the value add of your projects or events
- General net benefit vs cost
- Is there a comparable platform??
I'm very interested in how this can be applied to rehabilitation projects,
road diets/lane reconfiguration, and other district-wide improvements. I
also want to show metrics for our biggest yearly event and track general
tourist traffic and I know I've only scratched the surface on what's
possible with this platform, so any ideas are fantastic as it applies to
Main Street organizations!
Thank you in advance for your feedback!
Molly
