Witness to Innocence provides the following description for the workshop:

"In the modern death penalty era, exonerated death row survivors have been at the center of the abolition movement.  Witness to Innocence, the only national organization in the United States, composed of and led by exonerated death row survivors, is the leader in this transformational effort.

Accuracy and Justice is a criminal justice reform project within Witness to Innocence.  The purpose of this project is to bring together exonerated death row survivors and criminal justice practitioners for facilitated conversations around the causes of wrongful convictions and potential strategies for the future.  Although these workshops are typically held in-person, during these uncertain times, we are looking for alternate ways to have this conversation."

I have attached their brochure and workshop agenda.  Elizabeth Zitrin will facilitate, with presentations by Sabrina Smith, Herman Lindsey, and Kwame Ajamu.  All of their bios are contained within the attachment.

We will record the workshop for anyone who cannot attend it live.  We will invite other PD offices in Oregon, as well as prosecutors, judges, legislators.  For attorneys, we have applied for CLE credit.  The zoom link is below.  I hope everyone is doing well.
