To Pat, and anyone else that doesn't understand mailing lists:

YOU "made it start" (by subscribing), only YOU can "make it stop" (by
unsubscribing).  You subscribed to a mailing list, which means you get
a copy of every single message that any subscriber like yourself wants
to send to every other subscriber.  This is not "a problem," it is
exactly how it is supposed to work.  If this sounds bad to you then
unsubscribe yourself (by following the directions).  Your "make it
stop" messages accomplish nothing but a large annoyance to your fellow
subscribers.
