Diane:
In your e-mail, dump the deleted folder.
Go to your "Desk Top", right click on the "waste basket", and "empty" it.

Subject: [or-roots] help please
I am having some troubles...I know this is not directly connected with
genealogy. But, if I don't get it fixed, it is a major thing with my
genealogy!
I go to 'my computer' then on "C" drive to program files...Internet mail
and news mail. I click on that (I am still with win95).
There are two boxes that are chuck-a-block full and so is my "C" drive.
One is 'Deleted Items.idx and the other is Deleted Items.mbx.
How do I empty these things out so I have some room on my "C" drive.
Looks to me that the deleted/deleted files are actually saved and clogging
up the system.
It appears that in time there will be everything full of deleted itmes
that we really no longer wanted and deleted. Kind of a round circle of
deleted items that fill up the system.
So, you computer guru's, can you please help me? Many thanks, Diane
