Thank you Les  for your input, I found out some more info...These puzzles
sure turn on the thinking machine.

I talked to my Friend after I posted  to the list and should have before I
did, I got more info from her, she didn't give it all to me in the first
place.. anyway here is what she gave me,  and what you sent me adds up to
what I have, but here is the birth and death dates, she gave me,  Should
have invaded her notes earlier.

I sure do appreciate what you are doing, I would like to go to the FHC to
research but had knee surgery and am laid up for a spell,  so what you are
doing for me like I  said,  I sure do APPRECIATE,

1.  John W. Newman was born in 1830 in INDIANA.  He appeared in the census
in 1880 in Oregon City, Clackamas Co, Oregon , Page 222A.

John W. Newman and Edith Elizabeth Tetherow were married on 20 May 1851 in
Clackamas  Co, Oregon.  Edith Elizabeth Tetherow (daughter of David Tetherow
and Ruth Southwood) was born about 1835.  She died by 1880 in Clackamas  Co,
Oregon.  John W. Newman and Edith Elizabeth Tetherow had the following
children:

 +2 i. William Henry NEWMAN (born on 27 Feb 1852).


Second Generation

2.  William Henry NEWMAN4 was born on 27 Feb 1852 in Clackamas Co, Oregon.
He appeared in the census in 1880 in Sterlingville, Jackson Co, Oregon.  He
died on 10 Jan 1935 in Portland Mult Co, Oregon.

  William Henry NEWMAN and Rose Andrews had the following children:

 3 i. Herbert Leslie NEWMAN was born on 15 Feb 1889 in Oregon.  He died in
Jul 1966 in Eugene, Lane Co, Oregon.

William Henry NEWMAN and Eva MCCOY were married on 26 Jan 1874 in Clark Co,
Washington.  Eva MCCOY4 (daughter of Nelson William MCCOY and Sarah Jane
WILLIAMS) was born on 19 Dec 1857 in Linn Co, Oregon.  She died on 6 May
1947 in Portland, Mult. Co, Oregon.  She was buried on 7 May 1947 in Lincoln
Memorial Cem, Portland, Ore.  William Henry NEWMAN and Eva MCCOY had the
following children:

 4 i. Myra NEWMAN4 was born in 1875.
 +5 ii. William Westly NEWMAN (born on 18 Jul 1877).
 +6 iii. Myrtle Rose NEWMAN (born on 6 Oct 1878).
 7 iv. Delbert H. NEWMAN4 was born in Apr 1881 in Douglas Co, Oregon.

Third Generation

5.  William Westly NEWMAN4 was born on 18 Jul 1877 in Skamokawa, Wahkiaum
Co, Washington.  He died on 13 Mar 1951 in Medford, Jackson Co, Oregon.
6.  Myrtle Rose NEWMAN4 was born on 6 Oct 1878 in Portland, Mult. Co,
Oregon.  She died on 2 Jun 1942 in Salem, Marion Co, Oregon.
