For whatever reason the following got chopped from the link;

I think what may have happened is this is a fairly sophisticated web site
and they take exception to folks back dooring into things that should be
paid for so it is set up so that pasting the link for search results of
certain types takes you to the search input page rather than the result.
That may not be what happened here, it could have been computer gremlins or
you didn't click on the end of the link when you  copied it, but it could be
from something about the sophistication of the site. It never ceases to
amaze me how much they can do with this stuff. I routinely save a web page
to my computer if it has info I "think" I may want later and I recently
discovered that when I save LDS census pages and then open them on my
computer, I can't save any subsequent pages I arrive at. I had thought that
they were messing with me until I figured it out. In a way it is good
because I can use Word to create a web page and paste as many census results
in as I want and save file numbers.

I would pontificate at length about why you had the problem you had but
frankly other than the above I haven't a clue which considering I once
aspired to write programs for windows may give you some idea just how
complex issues like this are.

I actually got most of my christmas shopping done this weekend, of course it
was easier since all we were concerned about was the white elephant thing we
are doing for my wifes side, Not buying anything for MY family or each
other.
