Best wishes to all w/ new faster computers from Santa
et. al ! Mine is the same horse & buggy unit. Two
speeds, slow & stop. Did get my scanner hooked up &
have some large (for beter resolution) jpeg files of
family photos saved to CD. (See names above)
Have not made much progress in adding data of late,
but won't call it a brick wall yet...

Must say I do enjoy reading all of the posts, even
when they get quibbly. If you can't stand the heat get
outta the kitchen & go hungry. 

The spelling and transcription stuff has confounded
many of us in our searches!  My Jeptha Parrott was
entered as Perrett, J.O. instead of J.C., John instead
of Jeptha and Clyde instead of Carroll - go
figure....(huked on fonix musta ben gud enuf - and the
ritin wrn't to ez to reed gud nyther. gess lota them
pyoners didn't get much skoolin') 

hee hee ! Makes the searches more interesting, and
it's amazing how much OTHER stuff I learn along the
way - even if it's not a part of my tree, branch or
twig.
