As most of us know we never have enough time. I have enjoyed the stories from this mailing list for a couple of years. 
Now is the time for me to ask for help. My Step father has been diagnosed with bone cancer and is given a couple of weeks. I know that the Matlock side of the family has always interested him. The Matlocks and Gibson's came though the Oregon trial and I believe Barlow Pass. 
He has done some research but this is all I have. Any help would be appreciated. 
Thanks to all of you for your stories and help though the couple of years I have been on list.
