[or-roots] Winter of 1949/50

  I was born in Portland in 1945 at the Immanual Hospital so I don't have
memories of the storm of "49/50".  But I vaguely remember a snow storm in
December 1953, my family (Pickler) lived at Bonnieslope.  We wanted to go to
town and see a movie (I think it was "Snow White".)  We couldn't drive into
Portland because it was so slick so we went back home.  I think my dad had a
"49" Ford.
