[or-roots] Snow, Floods, Etc

I admit my memory is not perfect so I must ask a question regarding all this 
weather related info-Which year did the John Day River Bridge wash out?  Was 
that 64' or was it later?  I recall that they had put the pillars in sand 
because they knew the dam would back up and make slack water for the area.  The 
high water came too soon and the bridge washed away taking a dentist from Montana 
along.  There were a couple of fatal auto accidents in the area subsequent to 
the washout also
