Dear Or-rooters,

Some time back there were some posts regarding the digest version of the list and the amount of header information included with each day's messages.

Some of what you see is produced by the list software that we use to run the list. I have talked with the IS folks for our agency and they were unable to offer any significant solution to this issue. One option you may want to try and which seems to reduce the clutter somewhat is to switch your digest subscription of the "plain text" version. This can be done by accessing your subscription account. If you see a check mark in the "plain" it is a matter of clicking to remove that check. That will switch you to mime version of the digest. If you have difficulty please feel free to email me directly and I will take care of it manually on my end.

Please be patient, if I am inundated with request it may take a bit of time to get all the requests attended to. Also be aware that the preferences or features you have selected in you personal e-mail software may also affect the appearance of the list, in both the digest mode and the regular version.

Those folks who are using the regular rather than digest mode also have the ability to specify plain text only. I am not sure if that may resolve some of the issues of format that have been the topic of discussion during the past few days as well.

Have a Happy Valentine's Day/ Oregon's Birthday.
