[or-roots] Re: Pioneers of the 1900s

Does anyone know any good resources for information on
pioneers who went west around 1905?  My husband's
grandfather moved to Oregon from Iowa and Minnesota
in 1905 or 1906.  I don't know the details except that he
and his wife settled in Multnomah County and possible
had orchards.  They were also in Clackamus County later
on and in Eugene after her death.
Any help would be appreciated.  I'm thoroughly enjoying
the list.
