Hi Nancy,
        You can get the 1910 census and 1920 & 1930 census  of the area 
where they were or the
Soundex Census  which will show where they were and what twp and Page 
number  in the Census..
I don't think 1930 has Soundex yet,  in fact I know they don't..  

What is the last name and I can give you the code number to use to order 
census throught he Family
History  center..

 ANd if you are close to Portland or Salem they have all the  census in 
the Portland Forum and the
State Lib in Salem...
