[or-roots] Looking for Barbara Ann Shaw (Valroux)

I live in Portland, Oregon and I'm trying to find my
step-mother, Barbara Ann Shaw. Her full maiden name is
Barbara Ann Valroux and she was born in 1920 or 1921.
I don't know her exact DOB, place of birth, or her
SSN. She married my father, John Eugene Shaw, sometime
between February and June 1948, probably near
Portland, Oregon (I can’t find them in the Oregon
Marriage Index). They lived together in Portland until
they were divorced in early 1953. Later in 1953,
Barbara married a Japanese national here in Portland
named Kunio Kondo. Her name then became Barbara Ann
Kondo. They lived at 5530 SE Lambert St., Portland,
OR, just east of the Eastmoreland neighborhood, from
about the mid-1950s until they were divorced in 1963.
After she and Mr. Kondo were divorced, as one of the
divorce terms asked for by her, her surname was
restored to my father’s name and she once again became
Barbara Ann Shaw (this was 2.5 years after my father’s
death??). To my knowledge she did not have any
children.

I did not see much of Barbara from the time she and my
father were divorced in 1953 until his funeral in May
1961. Later in the summer of 1961, I stayed with her
and Mr. Kondo for a few days. She stated then that she
wanted custody of me, but somehow I wound up living
elsewhere. Nobody is getting any younger and I
desperately want to find her. I’m just starting this
process. I don’t know the ropes and it’s all very
frustrating.
