Doesn't really ring a bell Julie. I'm descended from Emmor Jefferson Stephens 
and his second wife, Jemima Heppas.  Emmor was the father of James Bowles 
Stephens one of the early movers and shakers of east Portland.  Emmor was the 
first person buried at Lone Fir pioneer cemetery in Portland (originally part of 
James B. Stephens land claim).  My ancestor was a younger son and half-brother 
to James B., John Wright Stephens who married Anne Elizabeth Hawley.  I do 
have a box full of Stephens family research however and will check on your names 
when I get back to Alaska later this week.
