[or-roots] Personal History

A little over a year ago I started wandering about my Grandfather Goodman, and what his given name was.  He Died when I wea about 5 years old.  My Mother and my Dad told me very little about my ancestors. That is why I got into this Genealogy Stuff.  I wish my Mom and Dad had told me more about their life and Grand mothers and fathers. But they didn't. 
 In some things I have read There Is the recomendation to write a Personal History  of one's self, so that your children and grandchildren etc know their Family History.

I've pretty well finishd mine, although it will remain a work in progress for some timwe yet.  So far about 25 pages.

Just thought I'd throw that in for comment.
