I know that some may have been in Walla Walla and were in the Eugene Area, My Grandfather Arthur H. Barber Married Iva Luetta Cross of Iowa they did not come to Oregon until 1906.
Do not know about Jesse Redheart still working on the genealogy,  Chief James Moses of the Lapwai Band had a Daughter Isabel that was married to William Craig my Gr. Gr. Grandfather we have also heard verbally that one of James wives was related to Chief Joseph and I know there are relatives still living on the Nez Perce reservation and on the Umatilla also.

        Also, Are you related to Jesse Redheart of the Nez Perce?  I have been e-mailing with: Jesse Redheart's two granddaughters, as Jesse himself ask them to write me. I am supposed to be related to them, but we are still working on that connection.
        I have a few pictures. One is a picture of Chief Redheart [Leader of the Redheart Band / of Nes Perce] taken:1907 in Peck, Idaho. It was sent to my grandmother, from Chief Redheart, when she was 16 years old..      Nancy
