[or-roots] A different kind of list

I haven't contributed anything for a long time so thought I would jump 
in with a comment.  I see a few people who have complained about the 
subject matter, they must be newbys.  The best thing about this list is 
the variety of subjects over the years, and if you think about it 
nearly every subject had a link to how our folks lived, how they did 
things and how things have changed, so are not out of place, at least 
on this list.  There are lots of lists that are purely genealogy and 
handy for that, but unless they are are helping you directly they 
become boring.

I say keep the list loose, fun and informative.  If you are not 
interested in the current subject feel free to use your delete button 
... I do.
