[or-roots] Early Railroad Travel to Summerville, Oregon

I don't think Jacksonville chose "not" to have the railroad line come through 
the town, it was just that Central Point and Medford offered a better deal - 
money talks  :-)

Some, like Jacksonville and (I believe) Mt. Angel, chose *not* to have the 
train come through. Oops <G>!
