[or-roots] Still looking for Mclane

Folks, I'm stuck!  My Great Grandfather was Samuel Mark McLane (many various spellings). He was born in about1832 in  Kentucky and died abt 1859. He married Josphine Barry in Oregon (she was b. 1856 in Missouri ?). Children were: Frances b.1807 in Oregon, George W. b. abt 1870 in Oregon, Owen b. abt 1874 in Oregon, and Corabelle (my Grandmother) b. in Oregon 1878. Samuel Mark McLane usually used the name Mark.  My Grandfather was Prince W. Goodman married to Corabelle McLane.
I'm having trouble finding Samuel Mark McLane's Father.
Any one have any Ideas or Information?  There were a batch of McLanes in Oregon (Linn County) and around Lyons Oregon.
