  Lee, I checked my GIBSON FAMILY  Genealogy - a long List of Sarah GIBSONS, and could find no clue or tie to
  those in this highly Indexed 520 book.  I have GIBSON  Gen. for anyone who has that Line.

  Carroll in Snohomish, WA 30 mi NE of Seattle.  A Gibson ancestor via my Grandmother Grace Idella GIBSON, who 
   m. Irving C. Clark of Kent, WA.   Grace was from Leominster, MA, and a Cousin to the famous Illustrator, Charles Dana GIBSON of Gibson Girl fame, turn of the 20th century, NY artist/illustrator (ref. encyclopedias).

    William Sublett Mulkey - born Jan 15, 1835, MO
    Came to Benton county, Oregon in 1853. His father was Elijah MULKEY. 

    Married Sarah GIBSON (probably about 1868, in Oregon?)

    Sarah Gibson had been married to James MURPHY, and possibly to CUMMINGS.

    Daughter Margaret Jane MURPHY, born Feb 19, 1858 in IL
    William J. born Jan 7, 1863 in Walla Walla (MURPHY?)
    Zula born abt 1869 in OR (probably MULKEY)
    Iona Elizabeth MULKEY, born May 28, 1873, Philomath

    Would like to correspond with anyone having knowledge of this family.
