Okay; I believe I do know the name "Joan Wise" but I guess, for those who
haven't paid attention to my old posts or are new to the list I should
clarify that when I am talking about my memory I am talking about a
selective sort of thing;
my memory has holes in it you could drive a buffalo herd through and not see
either side of the hole, and in fact when I try to recall lawyers and other
legal folk in lane county off the top of my head that I knew or knew of- - -
as hard as I try I can only recall a couple of names and maybe four law
firms altogether, other than people who have been in the news in the last
twenty years or so for one reason or another.
Johnson, Johnson and Harrang I draw a complete blank on, but with a name
like that I bet it is because I have forgotten and not that I had never
heard of them.
To be honest it was a long shot at best, but I do have an ace in the hole
which is a cousin of mine retired from the legal profession in Lane, and
though he practice corporate law, he still "might" be able to fill in a
blank, though again there since we arent' in close contact I may be
promising more than I can deliver, but basically what I was fishing for was
the names to see if I could pull a rabbit out of a hat for him.
Sometimes you're the windsheild, sometimes you're the bug.

PS next time you talk to your mom see if she knew any Boye family, or
Hansens or Melvins in Reedsport, if she did please don't hold it against me.

she now works
in Eugene (still) for Harrang, Long and has been there for about 35
years. Way back when it was still Johnson, Johnson and Harrang. So
chances are pretty good if you know some legal folks in Lane County, you
would know the name Joan Wise ... am I correct?
