First of all my apologies for not being able to spell Russellville.

We have had a number of comments about cemeteries at risk etc, thought I
would pass on a story about one that suffered a rather bad end in the San
Juan islands;

this is an excerpt from my baby sisters story of tracking down the grave of
my great grandfather Milan Melvin;

Next we heard of an older graveyard at Second Sound and went there. Some
sort of fair was going on there that included, conveniently for us, a
history booth. Much to our disappointment, we learned that the pioneer
graveyard had been on such a beautiful building site (a cliff called Madrona
Point) that later comers has simply gathered up the grave markers and thrown
them into the bay.

Kind of makes a person want to track down the heirs of all those stone
tossers and ask them how they enjoy the fruits of grave desecration.
