Les,

Trying to look this up, to get a different "eye's" take, can't find Julie Mynard in 1900, NY as you
listed. Did find a Julia A Mynard, Perry, Wyoming, New York, b 1837 in NY.

Maybe I mixed up the combination of names/dates/places? What was uncle's name? The Julia I found was MiL
and FiL was Andrew H.

I didn't even find an Omner in 1860 who fit the bill.

I couldn't find a Charles Martin married to an Amy in 1880. So, you see, I'm clearly not reading your
paragraph correctly.

Tell me more? Where in New York did they live, for example.

Pat (in Tucson)

|Just spent a good portion of the day chasing one of my
|paternal something or other great Uncles in New York, from
|1860 to 1900 he is indexed as Omner, Martin, Minard and
|Mynard, but except for the last one I'm positive I have the
|right guy, his wife Reba in 1860 and Rhoda in the next two
|with a consistent birth date of about 1825 to 1830 in NY all
|of a sudden in 1900 is Julie b. 1834 in Vermont. Married 51
|years! The capper is next door is son Charles and wife Amia ma
|29 years who I find in 1880 with one child wife listed as Amy
|and Charles claims his parents both born in NY, but in 1900
|his mom in Vermont.
|
|So did Julie/Reba/Rhoda lie early or late, or is she two
|people. I am inclined to the latter, but then why the whopper
|about length of marriage????
|
|I had a life then I discovered genealogy.
