[or-roots] whining -- census indexing

Now, while I am not a big fan of the Ancestry.com conglomerate, I must
say that for searching the census, I find I am able to have more success
with less frustration by going down to the local FHC and using their
Ancestry subscription when I need to 'search' the census, such as when I
am just not finding what I want using Heritage Quest, which requires a
pretty exact match to whatever the data is entered as -- Bogert would
qualify -- one of my 3rd great grand father's presumed siblings,
Margaret Ebner, married a Joseph Bogart maybe around 1800 in Columbia
County, PA
Ancestry's soundex search algorithm just seems to get the job done
better than anyone else's method.
[And we'll see if posting knocks me onto No Mail again ... it is some
sort of technical glitch that I hope is now fixed]
