Just discovered a great resource for chasing obscure Oregonians;

Someone has done an online index of the people in Oregon Geographic names,
so if you think someone you are looking for might have had "something" to do
with a Post office, check out the above, then feel free to aske me to look
up what it says about them since I have an edition of the book.



Now as to my Keizers, try8ing to tie up some loose ends; if someone could
look in Oregon Death index to get me a date for the death of any or all of
the following;

Russell Keizer	I have his birth as August 1884 in Oregon
Laura M. Keizer	his wife  I have abt 1886 North Dakota		do not know her
maiden name

I would also like dates of death for these but they probably won't be in the
index;

Sylvanus Frank Keizer	b. July 1857 in Oregon
His wife Mable 		b. Dec 1863  in Oregon		Also don't have her maiden name.


further am curious who the heck Manly and Ida Keizur (Ida being sister of
James Washington Hiatt who was first postmaser of Idea Oregon and wanted to
name it for her but somehow an "e" got involved [it's tempting to try some
kind of e-mail joke her, but I will refrain] were. They have a high
probability of being part of my Keizer Kaiser Keizur Kaizer etc clan.
