Pat;

I agree, I still am not sure what to make of the birthplace listings;

If I am placing this Charles in the correct household as son of;

1900  >  MISSOURI  >  ST LOUIS  >  27-WD ST LOUIS
 Series: T623  Roll: 900  Page: 197

 Surname GivenName Age Sex Race Birthplace State County Location
Year
 TACK CHARLES 55 M W MO MO ST LOUIS 27-WD ST LOUIS 1900

 he should list his parents birth places as Missouri Tennessee, but the more
I look at it the more I think these people arent' who I thought they were, I
just reread the 1880 census on Charles, Martha and Ada and no son Charles,
so unless he was with somebody else in 1880 this Charles in Texas probably
isn't their son. I wish these people had used a little more originality in
names, altogether in that family I now have; 5 Alberts, 5 John's and 4
Nicholases and probably only have half of the relevant people located and
put in my file, I know somewhere I have a whole bunc more people that look
good and i still don't know where they fit in. We suspect that one of the
Tacks that turns up in Oregon born in Penn or Mich I forget which is kin but
we don't know how he fits in.

Too many relatives.

Thanks again every body.

Les C

Been awhile since I've seen one so screwed up.
