Thank you for the information.  I saw that record in the Oregon Archives and am in the process or obtaining it.  His daughter Etha is also listed on that archives list (she was given the house by Daniel).  Lane Co Hist. Society has much information too.  A few years back Daniel's Eugene home was placed on the National Historical Record, so a great deal of history is known.  What I'm looking for now is relatives of Daniel's and Catherine's children.  Some daughters took the Dunn name.  

My cousin Linda and I are coming to Eugene next month or so to visit the house and research the archives and historical societies records and obtain as much information as possible.  If you know of someone in that area and is interested in history let me know.  I live in Seattle.  Again thanks that is the exact type of information we are looking for.
