I also research Jane Cox Shaw, daughter of Gideon Smith Cox (b. 30 Jan 1806 Knox Co. KY d. 17 Jan 1890 Silverton, Marion Co. OR) married to Susan (Susannah) Coffenberry (b. 1806 OH d. 1869 Marion Co. OR). I knew Gideon Cox rang a bell but I was thinking it was from the Cox's I research in Douglas County, Oregon.
