I know I have the right family with you but can only find a Becky Jean 
(Leventis) Smith & not Rebecca Smith. This Becky lives in Waitsburg, WA. Her 
family is from Silverton, OR. Maybe you don't know yet this part of the 
family? We have a Stevens Reunion every year, this year will be the '118th'. 
These are the families I can think of off the top of my head that attend - 
Stevens, Ringo, Mount, Esson Groshong, McCubbins, Smith, Ewing, McKey.

Your Gr. gr. grandparents, John & Rebecca Smith Barger and her parents, 
James and Sarah Jennings Smith Of Silverton, Oregon.
James and Sarah (Jennings) Smith of Silverton OR. you mentioned are in my 
Stevens family History book that the family put together & published. I 
helped also with the book some. My ggGrandmother Sarah E (Stevens) McCubbins 
sister Mary Stevens married Jennings Smith (born in 1838, son of James & 
Sarah (Jennings) Smith. The James Smith family crossed the plains to Oregon 
in 1845. Mary married Jennings Smith Oct. 1871 in Silverton, OR. After James 
& Mary married they on a farm bordering Bethany Road just across from the 
Bethany School & Bethany Christian Church, or the Silver Creek Church. In 
the early life of the congregation the church members had worshiped at the 
house of Elias Cox.
