Denise-
I am not *personally* putting the news articles online, but there are several other genealogytrails hosts who cover these areas, and these tidbits will all end up online sometime soon. In this case, since these specifically dealt with early Oregonians, I've also sent them to Layne and the Early Oregonian database, and to Stephanie Flora for her Oregon pioneers research. But I hoped that the OR-Roots group would enjoy them too. I know I enjoyed reading them!
If anyone has material they would like to have put online, you may either send it to me, or if you prefer, I can give you the contact names for the host of the area the items cover. You can choose to have your name associated with them or not. If you later decided you did not want them on Genealogytrails, we hosts would honor your wishes and remove them (if they were credited to you so that we could tell what to remove. All the GT hosts are always very thankful for submissions - some are easy to get online quickly, others require bit of formatting and research to do them justice.
