Subject: [or-roots] Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition 1905



Is there anyone on this list who may be familiar with the Lewis and Clark
Centennial Expo held in Portland in 1905? I'm searching for a Chicago
company which was supposed to have an exhibit there showing off their
Alaskan garnets. The company was Alaskan Ruby Mining and Development Co.
They contracted with a San Diego jewelry firm to cut 25,000 garnets for the
expo.
